The Power of Percussion
In celebration of Black History month, Universe Soul Records is making available some previously unreleased material by USR artist Marcus L. Miller. The tracks include a session recorded recently in support of the relief efforts to assist Puerto Rico with aid after the horrific hurricanes.
The music was composed and performed by Marcus L. Miller. Featured special guest soloist are Leon Mobley (lead djembe track 1), Angel Figueroa (bata track 2, bongos (track 5), and Jah Amen Mobley (lead djembe track 3). All other drum sounds are performed by Miller on his percussion kit, drum set, djun djuns, accompaniment djembe, congas, shekere, & bells.
